Re: Life Question #25 - Favorite Songs

I love get of of my cloud and satisfaction because the're awesome songs for rocking out. The book didn't bring back any special memories for me. I grew up listening to 80s and 90s music.

Re: Life Question #26 - Hard Copy or Audiobook

I read half on kindle and listened to the rest while doing chores etc. It was ok. Some parts were slow paced, but I didn't mind. I didn't feel the need to read every word so it worked out for me.

Re: Life Question #9 - Mayhem & Madness

^ Thanks. I knew you mentioned Keith calming the crowd. I wasn't sure who was on the mic. Who was the man screaming out the helicopter? Sorry for the question, but I'm curious. :shy:

Re: Life Question #9 - Mayhem & Madness

When I watched the videos I thought the band did the best they could to control the situation. Mick said they were going to leave if the Hells Angels didn't stop beating everybody up in sight. He wasn't pleased how they were managing the crowd. I couldn't tell if it was the behavior of the Hells Ang...

Re: Life Question #8 - Fans

I'm sure like fireflydances mentioned, if you're the goal it has to be terrifying to see this huge crowd moving toward you as one whether they're happy or not. I remember seeing a video of Johnny on red carpet. The camera was shooting from his view point, kind of beside him with his back to the came...

Re: Life Question #7 - It's not an act

I agree that Keith probably felt a real connection with the audience, but he knows that Mick Jagger didn't.

Re: Life Question #4 ~ Old Haunts

I have driven by places I used to live but the only place I ever went inside was my old elementary school. Everything seemed so short and small!! I had a similar experience. I couldn't believe how small everything was, but when I was younger it seemed much bigger. So much changes over time so...

Re: Life Question #2 - Bullies

First of all, I never imagined Keith Richards was bullied when he was younger. I just saw him as famous rock star, so never even thought that he was bullied as a boy. Bullying is somewhat the same. You have the classic bullies who want to intimidate physically and now with internet there are bullies...

Re: Life Question #1 ~ Impressions

I had trouble following this writing style so I decided to try the audiobook. It was much easier for me to keep up with everything. Anyway, what I liked most was hearing about how he wrote the songs and his memories of the shows he performed.

Re: Loser's Town Tidbit #11 ~ Gene Autry

Thanks. I was just surprised to find out that he even made a recording of Rudolph--and I've probably heard it a million times. I just didn't know who was singing it. :-O Thanks for the information. I had no clue who Gene Autry was until I read this tidbit. I agree, it's strange that I've probably h...

Re: Daniel Depp's Book-Signing Appearances ~ Zoner reports

Great for you. :yahoo: I am just reading this book now and am enjoying it. Of course I love mystery stories. :applause2: He sounds like an interesting person. I didn't know he had taught middle school. That is my favorite age group. I thought he had taught at the college level. And thanks for the p...
