Re: The Lawsuits Thread

Prior to Amber Johnny had been in other long term relationships and there had never been any suggestion that he was anything other than a loving and respectful partner. Yes, he was always something of a wild child and was open about enjoying a drink and other things but there’s a huge leap between ...

Re: The Lawsuits Thread

This is very good news and I really hope it marks the end of these unhappy years in Johnny’s life. I hope the media will move on to other people and leave him alone, though I suppose this is unlikely. I do wish him well and it’s over to him now to make the most of his life and move on. :spin:

Vanessa Paradis marries Samuel Benchetrit today

I love Vanessa! I confess I always hoped she and Johnny would reunite, sadly not to be, but I am very happy for her and I do wish them both all the best for the future. Her new husband is very dishy! Vanessa’s dress is beautiful and she looks so happy, am glad for her that she is moving on with her ...

Re: Hollywood Vampires--All the latest news

Hi everyone, I saw the Vampires at Wembley Arena in London tonight and it was just the most amazing and exciting show. I wasn’t close to the stage, but was seated around a third of the way back on the side, I had a great view of the entire stage. The band is tremendous, they are all terrific musicia...

Pics--Hollywood Vampires 2018 Summer Tour

I am enjoying looking at all the pics. I agree, he does look older but I think it’s mainly due to that haircut which is not flattering at all! :fear:

Murder on the Orient Express Question #3 Close Quarters

Some years ago I did a very long train journey and had all sorts of interesting conversation with various passengers who got on and off whilst I stayed aboard. It wasn’t as extreme as the Dead Man opening scene mind you though it did remind me of that.

Murder on the Orient Express Question #3 Close Quarters

I've been living on my own for nearly 20 years so I think I'd struggle with it! However I would probably look for friendly faces and try to get to know people.

Murder on the Orient Express Question #1: The Mystery of Mystery Stories

Yes I like mystery stories. I am completely rubbish at guessing the plot endings, maybe that's why I find them so enjoyable. I tend to like historical settings I really enjoyed The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton. Set in Holland in the 17th C. the protagonist marries a wealthy merchant, who gives her t...

Happy birthday to ONBC!

Congratulations Noodlemantras! I'm afraid I haven't participated in a long while, but I remember enjoying the discussions for The Libertine play and The Price of Freedom especially. It's a lot of fun to share enjoyment of a book with others. The Libertine was my first introduction to Wilmot, and I e...
