Thanks for posting this information, this has been a very interesting read. I saw the program on Charles II in NZ this year and thought it was very well done. There is also an interesting movie made quite a while ago called Restoration and starring Sam Neill as Charles II, - definitely worth looking...

It has been great to read this thread, I know I am pretty late coming to this forum, just thought I would dive in and write a little bit. Well of course in NZ we are the opposite from the States and Europe, now heading into Spring, probably my favourite season. I like what I think of as the half sea...

That was a great read thank you, my flatmates have a book well really a journal where they can write their comments about wine, their mum sent it from the States. The other day I was looking at the cover and I said, you know that reminds me of Ralph Steadman's work - and they said well yes, because ...

Christabel thank you for sharing your meeting with Greg, he sounds very charismatic - you are right about his website not being updated, he must be very busy. It is great to read about real life encounters. He and Johnny sound like they hit it off - and they both sound very similar in outlook and in...

Just a reflection on the mini dress thing, for our secondary school uniforms we had a summer and gym uniform/tunic made out of the same material, except that the gym tunic of course was very short and we wore it with rompers. But I decided to do some DIY styling in my bedroom and shortened my summer...

What a wonderful thread, it is great reading about everyone's corners of the world. I come from a city in New Zealand in the South Island called Nelson, which feels a very long way from the rest of the world. There are about 40,000 people living here, and is called the sunshine city of NZ, and we ar...
